in my honest opinion, i think colour, contrast, tone, light processing should not be seen as sins. does it matter how the subject is presented, as long as it's presented truthfully in subject and meaning? for me it doesn't.
do "i walked in the woods. it was sunny." and "i walked gingerly in the woods as sun streaked trough the trees" not convey the same meaning, although there's a different stylistically approach? they do.
i think this c
